Road Trip

This past weekend I had to travel to Louisiana for work. Yes, I said weekend. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes it difficult to train for that 70.3 coming up in April. Not complaining, just stating the facts...work pays for triathlons and all the stuff that comes with them, so it's definitely higher on the priority list. ;-)

We were at the LSU campus to be exact. I didn't get in a workout on Friday due to working late on Thursday and then packing until 11:30 pm...getting up at 4:30 am the next morning didn't sound appealing. And, we had a reception on the campus to attend that evening. Next was dinner and before I knew it, it was 11:30 pm. Whew, what a day! Saturday was a somewhat busy day of interviews, but I had some free time in the afternoon. I had planned on riding the stationary bike in the hotel fitness center for a couple of hours. Not exciting, but I'd be getting that workout done.

Guess what?

There was no stationary bike at the hotel fitness room!

Scratch that. I did some weights and then headed out to do some shopping instead. (Does that count as a workout?)

On Sunday I didn't have anywhere to be until 11 am, so I headed out for a run around the lakes. A lap around both of the lakes near campus was almost exactly 6 miles. It was hot, humid and windy, but I got'er done. (1:02 and some change, ~10:22 pace) Oh, and I seemed to choose the direction that had the uphill portions with no downhill! Weird.

Here's a view of the pretty lake...it was nice to have something scenic to look for a change. Not that looking at houses in my neighborhood isn't scenic....

I also spotted this tiger on my route...I am still a little bitter about A&M's loss to LSU in the Cotton Bowl last year, so I wasn't sure I wanted to post this.

So that was my weekend. I have to head out of town again this week for 2 days of training. This time I called ahead to make sure there was a stationary bike in the fitness center...otherwise, I'd be bringing my bike and trainer to the hotel. I'm still trying to figure out when I will get back to the pool for some laps...hopefully, I can squeeze in an hour or two this weekend along with a nice, long bike ride!

Texas Tour...

Friday, September 24 - No workout
I'm the type of person who likes to get things over with...especially when it comes to long runs. Knowing that I was going out of town on Friday afternoon, I had every intention of running in the wee hours of the morning, but chickened out...I'm skeered to run in the dark in the 'hood. This meant I would be forced to run on Sunday evening - oh the horror.

Saturday, September 25 - No Workout
Unless you think I should count walking a hundred miles back and forth around SeaWorld, I did not workout on Saturday. Count the fried catfish and shrimp I had for dinner later and I think I gained about 5 lbs - even with the profuse sweating all day in the hot sunshine. But, it was a great day! We surprised the kiddos with the trip to SeaWorld and got to visit with the in-laws...okay, and a trip to the San Marcos Outlets. And, I finally had a chance to use my Sunglass Hut gift certificate on a cute pair of Lauren aviators! Yipee!

Sunday, September 26 - 6 mile run
Okay, so it wasn't the 10-miler on the schedule, but after getting home from San Marcos, unpacking, doing laundry, and going grocery shopping there wasn't much time left. Six miles was all there was time for before dinner and the kiddo's bedtime. But, it was a great 6 miles! It was a tad bit on the warm side, but the humidity was low and the neighborhood sprinklers were on! Overall pace was 10:23 and the last two miles were my fastest. Yippee skippy!

Monday, September 27 - no workout
This no workout thing is starting to become a habit. A month ago, when I was still finishing up Insanity, that would be unheard of! But, I knew it was going to be a long day - work in the morning, drive to College Station, presentation to students, dinner with students....I opted to get an extra hour of sleep.

Tuesday, September 28 - ~4-mile run
Ah Aggieland! I almost never get to go back to the A&M campus, except for the occasional recruiting trip for work (and there's rarely time for just wondering around the campus). This time, I happened to be recruiting with a couple of runners, so we decided to head out for a 5 am run around the campus. It was great to run around my old stomping grounds. I imagine it's like any other college campus - a lot has changed in the past 14 years! It was amazing to see all the new buildings and a little sad to see some old buildings gone. It was also a little sad to see that you can no longer drive through the campus streets - probably a post 9/11 precaution, so that no one could drive too close to any of the larger buildings. The temps were in the high 50's, so that was a great treat as well!

Howdy!

Howdy from Aggieland! I'm here recruiting for work. Talk about exhausting - I was at work by 5:45 am to meet up with a co-worker for the drive to A&M, next we spoke to students non-stop until 1 pm, ate a quick lunch and then interviewed until about 5:30 pm. We headed out for a quick dinner and then I headed down to the hotel gym for a run....no crazy messages from the equipment like Cassie experienced though! Tomorrow is a day of back to back interviews...fun! I am about to hit the hay and take advantage of a good night's sleep, which has been rare lately thanks to a certain 3 year old.

***********************

I am bummed that the 10 for Texas was postponed until November 15. That's the same day as the inagrual San Antonio Rock n Roll marathon, which I have been persuaded to run by the peeps at Woodlands Fit. Will I be ready for it? Not quite, but I am thinking of it as just another training run and not putting pressure on myself about my pace. This is my season of getting back into the game - no expectations, no pressure.

Just Checking In...

I managed to get in a quick 20 minutes on the treadmill Wednesday. Yesterday, I had the day off and spent the entire time at the library, with the exception of a 2 hour break to get my hair cut and colored and to grab some lunch. Today, we have our ladies holiday party at work...we're all getting manis & pedis (courtesy of the company) and later we'll head out early for a late lunch and gift exchange. After that, I will have to head to the library for more Finance studying.

I don't think I could study enough for this test...no matter how many times I do the homework problems and read the chapters, it just doesn't click for me. Yes, this is a reminder why I chose the field of HR rather than Accounting or Finance! :-) I am so incredibly ready to get this semester done. Then, 2 more to go! Wooohooo! So, if you don't mind sending some good luck vibes to me tomorrow around 1pm, I would greatly appreciate it.

Speaking of good luck vibes, I will be sending some of those out to all the peeps running the 21 miler tomorrow! The weather forecast looks pretty good, so I hope you all have a great run!

Treadmill, 20 minutes, 2/1 intervals, 12:27 pace (no heartburn, woohoo!)

So annoying...

Okay, here it goes...a work-related post. (GASP!)

The only thing that drives me crazy about my job is that in HR, you're constantly trying to make/keep employees happy. You know that old saying..."you can't make everyone happy"...or, the one that goes something like, "you can make everyone happy some of the time, but you can't make everyone happy all of the time". It's so freaking true! I like my job, but seriously, I cannot make everyone happy all the time. Get over yourselves people. Really!

Howdy from Lubbock!

Well, here I am, in the thriving metropolis of Red Raider country! Lubbock, TX. Yeehaw! :-)

I'm here on a recruiting trip for work - trying to recruit the best and brightest. :-) While there's not a heck of a lot here, the students are pretty great and the job fair was fantastic. It wrapped up with an appreciation dinner at a swanky place downtown. Nice. And, our hotel is down the street from the Buddy Holly statue...too funny!

Hopefully, I'll get back to regular blogging soon. I still need to update on the awesome trip to NYC!

See ya!

Private

Well, here's the scoop. My boss wanted to meet with me yesterday afternoon to discuss how another meeting went this morning. (Yes, that's right, we meet to discuss meetings. LOL!) At the end of the meeting, he mentions this blog. Apparently, someone at work was bored enough to not only find my blog, but find this post in the archives. Then, they were bored enough to not only send the link to people in the office, but print it out and distribute it around. Yeah, if only I had that much time on my hands.

Part of me could care less. I know this is the internet. I wouldn't post anything that I thought could get me into trouble at work. I'm not THAT dumb. I don't think there was anything that terrible in that post. Surely, I am not the only 35 year old who has experienced discontent at work and has no clue what she wants to do when she "grows up"! However, my boss felt otherwise. First, why would I want to blog in the 1st place? Second, maybe someone at work would read that and think that I wasn't really happy here. He felt that I might have to do damage control over that post. All of the partners where I work are men, and trust me when I say that when it comes to gossiping, they are as bad if not worse than a bunch of high school girls. Some of them are extremely judgemental. I am sure I will get a lot of strange looks from many of them. I'm sure that a couple of them will mention this discovery to me (can we say - beating a dead horse?).

The other part of me is just annoyed that someone at work is childish enough to feel that my blog needed to be distributed in this manner. I *think* I have an idea of who this person is, and if my guess is correct, I am not surprised in the least. I haven't decided how I'm going to handle this. For now, I'll leave my blog as private. I e-mailed everyone I have saved as a contact in my e-mail account...which isn't everyone. I am horrible about updating my contact list! So, if I am forgetting anyone, I hope they e-mail me!

Toodles!

Bor-ing!

Jeeze, I feel like my workout reports just keep getting more and more boring. Afterall, what's so exciting about a 30 minute treadmill run? Nothing! The back is still bothering me, but it wasn't too bad last night. I have my 1st PT appointment on Monday.

Honestly, I really don't know how I am going to fit in the PT! I'm going to Texas A&M (WHOOP!) next week from Wednesday through Friday for college recruiting. I'm excited about possibly getting in an early morning jog through campus...it's been forever since I've been back. And, I just found out yesterday that I am going to NYC for work the following week for 2 days (possibly longer if I can find a reasonably priced hotel there and extend the trip..is that an even realistic?). Then, the week after that, I'm off to Tech for a couple of days for more college recruiting. Thank God the month of October looks a little less hectic! I have a 2 day trip to LSU and that's it! But being away from the hubby and kiddo is tough...not to mention that the hubby has to use his PTO, since he works nights.

Somehow, I have to make sure I stay on top of the school stuff during all this. Looks like the housework will be the 1st to be neglected, followed by running....and neglecting the workouts makes me one grumpy girl. :-) By the way Barbara, I am actually enjoying Finance class so far! (I can't believe I typed that!)

HOT, HOT, HOT

Today's heat was an azz kicker and it sure kicked mine. I headed straight to the park after work for a loop. For the 1st 1/4 mile, I was in the shade and thought to myself, "oh, this isn't all that bad." Mother nature must have been smirking, clasping her hands and saying, "I'll get you my pretty" (in her best Wicked Witch from The Wizard of OZ voice). Why do I think that? Because when I rounded the corner, I was in direct sunshine and it was freaking HOT! By the end of the 1st mile, I was sweaty. By the end of the 2nd mile, I was cursing to myself and telling myself that this was NOT fun. For the next .9, I walked more than I'd like to admit. I finally made it back to my starting point and could not wait to hop into the pool. Ahhh yes, putting on a swimsuit while all sticky and sweaty is fun! (note the sarcasm)

The swimming is going a little better. I definitely feel more confident in the water. Now, if I could just remember to do all the things I'm supposed to do. All at the same time. :-) By the way, thanks for the tips and words of encouragement! They are much appreciated! Next week, I'm going to be travelling for work, so no swim class. I'm planning to head to the pool at least once a week for some "laps" for the rest of the summer. Depending on how the rest of the summer semester goes, I may try to sign up for the last session of swim classes at the end of the summer. With two big group presentations due on the last day of class, I'm not sure if that's going to happen. By the way, I've been getting the most awful charlie horses in my feet and calves when I swim...what's up with that?

Running Stats
Conditions - 93 (had to be 100 with heat index!)
Total run time - 32:05
Total distance - 2.9 miles
Pace - 11:04 (I don't know how with all that walking!)

Yikes...

Sorry for the lack of posting! The weekend was a whirlwind of activity!

I did get in a run on Wednesday...a very lazy 3 miles.

Thursday and Friday were consumed with homework. Saturday was school all day and swimsuit shopping (that could be the subject of an entirely different post!). Sunday, I managed to get in a 6-miler at the park. Next was playgroup, then off to the library while the kiddo hung out with the grandparents. Then I picked her up and we headed to Chuck E. Cheese for a birthday party for one of the kiddo's school friends. Yes, even at age 2, she as a social calendar. This coming weekend, there are two parties on the agenda! I think we'll be doing good to make it to one of those.

By the way, I did squeeze in an hour to say goodbye to my favorite tv family and watch the Sopranos series finale.

Did anyone else think their cable went out at the end? I was pretty disappointed in the ending at first, but now I am just happy that my favorite folks didn't get whacked and that life goes on as normal...well, as normal as possible for the head mobster of NJ. :-)

Work is certainly getting busier. I think my grace period as "the new girl" is over! Don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying it. The job is much more interesting than my previous job, but also much, much more challenging.

Add my school schedule to that and I am a bit stressed. Economics is kicking my butt! I thought Accounting and Statistics were tough, but Econ seems like a whole new language. All the damn curves on the graphs..supply, demand, indifference, income effect, shifting, movement along the line, elasticity, consumer behavior, ugh! It makes my head spin. I was at the library late last night trying to figure it all out. Oh, and we are doing some work on our house. Nothing big, just a couple of new windows, some new kitchen counter tops and bathroom tile. Just enough to make our house look like a mini war zone for awhile! I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I am a neat freak. It's probably a good thing I'm spending so much time at school, because spending too much time in a dirty, dusty house would drive me insane. ;-)

I may be MIA for days at a time for the next 10 weeks. But rest assured, I am going to be running. Maybe not as many miles as I would like, but I will be there. It's going to be a very long summer!

Party On Dude!

Have I mentioned that I work for a great company? Not only do they know how to work hard, they know how to play hard too. Last night, we had an outdoor event scheduled to begin at 5:30. Yep, that's right...it was right in the middle of that wonderful downpour, complete with thunder and an exciting lightening show. Not to worry, the storm was gone by 6:30. Thank goodness, because with the rain we couldn't have the carnival type of deliciously sinful, fried foods and the band couldn't play. For the 1st time probably a decade, I actually had a funnel cake! Well, okay, I had about 1/8 of a funnel cake...that was about all I could handle of that fried, sugary sweetness. And the band? They were great...they play a lot in Austin and College Station, and they'll be here in Houston at Blanco's in June! Check them out here.

I really didn't think I would get in a run last night. But, after having a 'rita and that funnel cake, I needed to run! And, it's not like I had to study. After the kiddo was in bed, I put on my running shoes and limped to the treadmill. Apparently that speedwork on the incline the day before was not a good idea. Thanks to my bum left foot, I had been limping around almost all day. What on earth was I thinking? I had been limping around all day and I wanted to go for a run? I opted for the 45 minute Si6 workout instead. At least lunges and squats are controlled and don't require the hard impact with the ground. Fortunately, my new medical insurance kicks in tomorrow. Looks like I'll be making a doctor's appointment!

This morning, I only had time for the 20 minute Si6 workout. Hardly seems worth it, but I figure it's better than nothing. Tonight is the happy hour with my classmates. I'm hoping to have time for another workout after that...I've really been wanting to try the Si6 abs workout!

My freedom from classrooms and textbooks is coming to an end. Sigh. I was really enjoying it, but I am ready to tackle this semester and get it done. The best part? After this semester, I will be halfway through the program. Then maybe I'll stop questioning my sanity about going back to school. Then again, maybe not.

4 Days

I can't wait....4 days until the semester is over! Maybe then I can sleep in until, say, 5 am? This getting up at ungodly hours to do homework and read is getting old. Actually, it got old back in March. :-)

Well, the trial run yesterday didn't happen. I started thinking about the week's schedule. Monday - went to work early (in order to leave early on Friday to study) and got home after 8 pm because I went to the library. I didn't get to see the kiddo awake at all. Wednesday - I have to be at work early for a meeting and then my group is meeting at the library to put the finishing touches on our project. Thursday - I have to work until 7pm, then drive across town to pick up the kiddo at the my parent's house because it's the hubby's hapkido night. Friday - I'm leaving work early for last minute cramming and will mostly likely be at the library until I have to rush home so the hubby can get to work. Saturday - school all day and then the hubby and I are going to dinner with my class cohort. Ah yes, the mommy guilt is plentiful this week. Now, if the in-laws call and announce that they're coming in town this weekend for Mother's Day, I will have a meltdown. That would mean I had to squeeze in cleaning the house...that my friends, would throw me over the edge! ;-)

What am I getting at? Well, yesterday was the only opportunity to hang out with the kiddo for more than a few minutes until Sunday. So after work, I headed straight home. But, I figured we could take a walk...the kiddo loves to be outside and I would be getting in a little exercise too.

We got out the p.i.t.a. jog-stroller and headed to the little park by the house. This time, I took the Garmin just so I could know all the distances. Obviously, I wasn't going for speed here. The 1st mile was spent doing some speedy walking with the kiddo in the stroller. Then, the kiddo grew bored and wanted to get out and run. So, she actually ran and galloped for the next 1/2 mile! I was pretty impressed that she never got tired and tried to go as fast as her little sandals would take her. She would look back and laugh and tell me to run. For the next 1/2 mile, we took frequent breaks to stop and pick flowers, look at a butterfly, picking up rocks, etc. Then, she would count, "1, 2, 3, go!" or sometimes "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, go!" We had a blast!

So, no real workout, but definitely lots of fun! The hip felt pretty good too! Only a little ache toward the end.

????

Is it Monday already?

Saturday, I had classes all day. Good news! I made A's on my Stat homework (100 thankyouverymuch) and project (95). Whoop! And the prof announced that we would only have 1 more project (instead of 2)...so, I just need to make an A on that and my final. Yahoo!

Sunday, I made it to the park around 7am for a "LR". I quote, because my LRs haven't been all that long lately. This time - 8 miles. I missed my LR last weekend due to Easter, the weekend before it was only 6 miles.

I started at the Tennis Center and headed to Memorial Dr. the long way around. Instead of doing loops, I decided to head to Waugh, cross over Waugh and head back to Shepherd via Allen Parkway, then head back to Memorial Dr. to go back to the park. The weather was awesome and for the most part it was a great run. On the way out, I only took walk breaks at the water fountains. On the way back, I took a 1 minute walk break every 9-10 minutes. I could definitely tell that I hadn't been running as much as I should during the week. My pace was 10:43.

Today, my group meeting for school was cancelled, so I headed for the park! It seemed like everyone wanted to enjoy the awesome weather, because I saw several familiar faces. First, I saw Coach Abbie from HoustonFit (who also ran Seabrook) in the dressing room. We talked about Boston with some other folks. Next, I ran into friend and former co-worker, Roberta. Finally, just as I started my loop, I saw June. I forgot my watch today, so I have no idea of my time. I felt like I was keeping a pretty good pace, but who knows? The weather was great and the loop felt great..what more does one need? :-)

In other news, the new job is going pretty well. I feel better after meeting with my boss today and discussing some of the projects that will be on my plate. Finally, I feel like I have something to do!

Congrats again to everyone who ran Boston today...you rock!

Monday Monday

Yep, it was Monday alright. I arrive at work early, check my hotmail and I have an e-mail from someone in my marketing group who wants to meet up tonight to work on our project. Luckily, it's the hubby's night off and I can make it. I was planning to go for a run after work, but oh well!

I made it home in time to hang out with the kiddo before bedtime. We colored for a bit using the new colors that were in her Easter basket. After she fell asleep, I hopped on the treadmill for a quick run. It gave me an excuse to watch a little bit of The Bachelor. Why is it that the girls from the Houston area are so annoying? The chick from The Woodlands refused to get her hair wet during a swim competition - give me a break! The Bachelor is a Marine and a triathlete...do you think he would be impressed by a prissy girl who refuses to get her hair wet??? Luckily, the girl from Sugarland kicked butt in the competition. So, 25 minutes on the dreadmill @ an 11-minute pace...2.18 miles. That's all there was time for. I had to hop on the computer to work on some stuff for work. Two more days at my current job...yikes, I am getting nervous about the new job!

Weekend

Where the hell does it go? One minute, it's 5 pm on Friday and the next minute the alarm clock is going off at 5 am on Monday! And, someone please tell me why my darling daughter will sleep until 8 am Monday - Friday, but only until 6 am on Saturdays and Sundays??? Anyone?

First, let me say that I did run 2x last week. Tuesday, I managed 3 miles on the treadmill. Wendesday, I headed to the park for a quick loop...my goal was to run the entire loop at a 10 minute/mile pace. And I did! Sort of - I did stop my watch for a few seconds to say hello to a friend who was walking part of the loop. My watch captured 2.85 miles @ a 9:58 pace. For the 1st time, I actually tried running with my cute, new ipod shuffle and it seemed to have helped. I found that Concrete Blond = faster pace! So anyway, I proved to myself that I am capable of running faster. And I have June to thank for that. In one of her posts last week, she mentioned that to run faster, you have to train harder. That's something that I already knew, but sometimes it helps to have someone spell it out. Kwim? Of course, I was breathing hard at the end and I did feel like I wanted to puke...but only for a second. ;-) I did the loop at that pace doing 5/1s. And, I am beginning to think that it would be easier to maintain that pace running straight through rather than walking for a minute and then trying to run faster to make up the time.

After work on Friday, I went to a happy hour at a little place that I like to call heaven. Okay, so it's not really heaven, but the margarita's are heavenly. This was my 1st happy hour in who knows how long. My original plan was to go to happy hour and not indulge at all, so I could do a quick loop at Memorial on the way home. By the time 5pm on Friday finally arrived, I was ready for margarita's! After the drama of giving notice at work (long story) and going through our audit, I really was ready for a margarita...or two. or few. :-) It was so much fun seeing all my friends from my former job (as in not the one I'm about to leave, but the one before that...confusing?)

Saturday, the hubby, kiddo and I planned to attend the company picnic for the company where I will soon be working. My future boss thought it would be a good idea, so I could start meeting some of the folks I would be working with. I agreed. Although I knew it would be a tad bit awkward, I figured it would be good to start putting the names with the faces...and see if everyone was nice...after all, I would still have time to change my mind and not work there if it didn't go well. :-) Everyone was great, so there were no worries there. We weren't sure if there would even be a picnic with all that crazy wind and rain. Fortunately, the picnic was being held west of Houston and the rain passed through much earlier and gave way to sunshine and gorgeous weather.

Sunday, I headed to the park for a "long" run. I originally intended to get there right at 7 am and run to Waugh and back. However, the kiddo was experiencing a bit of separation anxiety when I was leaving, so I stayed longer to make her muffins and watch a bit of Go Baby! with her. As soon as I started my run, my Garmin gave me the "low battery" message. So, I had no idea of my pace or exact mileage. Since I arrived late and had no idea of the time, I ended up running the longer leg of the park loop, down Memorial to Shepherd, turning right and then turning around at Kirby. My total mileage was only around 6.5 miles. I know I ran the 1st and 2nd miles straight through and then tried to only walk when I arrived at the water fountains or large puddles of water. After my run, I sat and chatted with June for a few minutes before heading home. I made it home just in time to shower and get the kiddo to playgroup right on time.

Sunday afternoon, the hubby and I took the kiddo to the Children's Festival downtown. It was pretty packed, which we assumed was because of the bad weather the day before. Our goal for the day - see the "Dance with Dora" segment on the Time Warner stage. So, we get there about a 1/2 hour early to stake out prime seating directly in front of the stage. About 10 minutes before the show started, parents start pushing their kids up to the front and all of a sudden there are a dozen or so kids in front of us. It only got worse! About 5 minutes before the show started, there were more pushy parents with their kids trying to get up to the front. It was crazy!!! Jeeze, parents teaching their kids to be rude and pushy. Or are they just teaching them to be uper aggressive? I don't know. All I know is that when Dora came out, and they asked for volunteers on the stage, I couldn't believe the pushing! For a moment, I was having flashbacks to my college days of mosh pits at punk rock shows at Numbers! I was halfway expecting to see someone crowd surf or stage dive! I placed the kiddo on my shoulders so she could see Dora and just tried to stay out of harms way. Luckily, she's not really old enough to care that much...she was just happy to see Dora and wave and clap to the music. What stank more than anything is that Dora danced to one stinkin' song! Oh well, like I said, the kiddo enjoyed it and that's all that matters. After the Dora fiasco, we enjoyed just walking around to the different activities, having lemonade and being outdoors.

Enough Already!!!

Like everyone else here in Houston, I am sick and tired of this crappy, drizzly, cold weather! Well, everyone except Vic, who seems to actually enjoy this. All I can say is that it makes for some miserable runs and for some horrific commuting. Grrrrr........

The trip to Austin was actually fun. My company ranked #32 out of the "60 Best Places to Work in Texas". My boss and I got to take a pic with the Gov. Although, I am not a huge R.P. fan, I will say that he was very nice...of course, it does help that he is an Aggie. WHOOP! We made it back to the office around 4:20 and I was instructed to go home. The weather was crappy, so running at the park was out. Instead, I headed to the library. The normally 1/2 hour trip ended up being 1 hour 10 minutes. By the time I got there, went to the restroom and sat myself down at a table I heard "the library will be closing in 20 minutes". Damn. So, in 20 minutes, I made my way over to Starbucks where I attempted to study with the loud classical music playing.

So I am rambling. Sorry! Basically my point is - I didn't get to run. I did however get to read a chapter of marketing. I WILL squeeze in at least 3 miles tonight. After the 1/2, I've decided that my mileage needs to be 15-20 miles per week and I will need 3 more miles to make the 15. I did squeeze in the "Slim in 6" workout again this morning. Woohoo, day #4 is done.
