Graduation

I don't officially finish my last 2 classes until August, but since my school doesn't have an August graduation ceremony the folks in my cohort will be participating in the graduation ceremony this weekend. It's a bit anti-climatic, walking now and finishing later...I don't feel like I can "celebrate" this weekend. I might jinx something. :-) But, it is proof that I am one step closer to meeting my goal, so that's a good thing. I have to admit, it is a little exciting to be participating with the 20+ other people that I began this endeavor with 19 months ago. Despite the stress, mommy guilt, missed runs and sleep deprivation, it's been a great experience!

Will I need to call you Doctor or something like that after August?

Congrats

LOL, Jamoosh...no "Dr" here...just a lowly MBA. :-) After this, I don't think I will ever be motivated enough to get my PhD!

Congratulations! Same thing happened to me (August graduation date) but for a different reason. I had 2 classes the spring semester of my senior year (this was for my undergrad, not masters).

Some yahoo professor was indicted (and later found guilty) of child pornography. My class was dropped as a result the day before it was supposed to start and I had to make it up during the summer.

But my name is in the May graduation list.

Congrats!!! I bet it didn't seem like it at the time, but the time sure flew. I will buy you a margarita when you finish your summer classes.

I had forgotten all the painting and work you and your husband did in order to sell your house. And yes, I do have questions - do you have any brushes/rollers you recommend or use what I can find at Walmart or Home Depot? One of my co-workers recommended using eggshell paint for the bed and bathroom due to its sheen - what do you think? Any great website you consulted before painting? Did you use tarps or can I just use newspaper? Did you buy a paint pan or use the thing that goes in the can? Any other must have item other than tape, brush/roller, etc.? Thanks!!
