Remember how I mentioned a sore throat on Sunday?
Yep.
Strep throat. again. That would be 2x in 2 months. This coming from someone who never had strep before last month. Ever.
Another small setback. This is getting really old. The sore throat, the aches, and well, just feeling like crap in general is no fun.
So, I'll be a good girl and take a couple of days off. Okay, maybe three. I think I didn't give myself enough rest (as in none) last time I had strep, so this time I will be a little more cautious. I will take it easy and maybe try to run on Friday, then rest on Saturday...afterall, I have that 55-mile ride at Katy Flatland on Sunday! It's paid for and I've been looking forward to it, so I better be rid of all the sickies by then.
Yeah, yesterday's bike/strength training and today's run/swim ain't happening. Bummer!

Oh no!!! Not good news. I've never had strep either (and I work in a high school...one huge petri dish!). Rest up and revover quickly!!!
Strep, oh no! Seriously no fun. Take those rest days and take care of yourself!!! Hope you are back to 100% very soon!
Take the meds, rest, and recover. Strep is nothing to be messed around with. Seriously.
You may want to consider having a strep test done when you are finished with your meds to be sure the infection is really gone.
My mom caught a bad virus in her heart from Strep. It's not common, but it can happen. Please take care of yourself, Christy!
Rest, rest, rest. It won't hurt your training and will only make you stronger!

Wow, this certainly has been a summer of maladies for you. I agree with the others, rest is your best friend right now. Get well soon.
