Angry running

It's amazing what a little spousal spat can do for your running! Houston Fit 1/2 Marathon training schedule says a 25 minute tempo run...so, 25 minutes it is!

Running Stats
Conditions - Treadmill while watching Grey's Anatomy
Total distance - 2:25 miles
Total run time - 25 minutes
Pace - 11:06 (much faster than the past few weeks!)

25 minutes? Wow, this 1/2 marathon training is pretty nice. This weekend I have to do 9 miles. I have school on Saturday, which leaves me with 3 loops around the park on Sunday...that is, unless I get adventurous enough to venture out of the park. We'll see!

Well, from the park to Shepherd and back along Memorial Drive is 2.8 miles.

Or go the other way from the park and cross the railroad tracks. Follow the little dirt trail beside Memorial under the 610 Loop, all the way to Chimney Rock. Turn left on Chimney Rock, left again on Woodway, back under 610 and to the park. Now you're on the side where Houston Fit meets. Cross Memorial to get back to the park. That's 5.8 miles. No water stops, though, so if you try this one, take your own!

Thanks for the routes! I know I've done both at some point. Hmmm...I may get brave and venture out!

Oh i would go NUTS if i had to run loops at memorial.

I AM nuts. I do Mem Park loops all the time. :)

Me to Vic, me too! I've done as many as 5...that was NOT my idea of fun!

I think my personal loop record is 6, and I don't recommend it. Ugh...

Great job on the run.... angry or sad I find are the best runs! Glad to see I'm not the only Grey's addicted person!
