Bored?

Need something to do this weekend?

Here are a couple of ideas:

Have you seen THE MET yet? (Or, have you seen the bumper stickers that say that?) See the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company perform at Miller Outdoor Theatre tonight, June 8, 2007 at 8 pm. Admission is free..I promise, fighting the mosquitos will be worth it!

Join the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance for their Main Street/Market Square Twilight Walking Tour - 6 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2007. Tour meets at Market Square Park, Travis at Congress.

And, coming soon......

See the Newsboys at Lakewood Church on Sunday, June 17th at 7:00 pm. Admission is free. (If you know where the Summit/Compaq Center used to be, then you know where to go!)

Wow!!! Christy does local Arts & Entertainment. Sounds like an idea for a great new website. I know you have the time, right? ;)

as a houstonian transplanted in eastern washington state (5hrs from seattle) these are just the type of things/options that i miss most. (i'd like to note that i don't miss the humidity or the traffic.)

i see you have quite a few marathons under your belt. that's great. i'm quite a few behind you but working my way. count me in as another reader of your blog!

To answer your question :) . .
I TOTALLY thought our DVR messed up at the end and was like "Great, now I have to fast forward through this junk" only to realize that was the end LOL. I was kinda peeved at first but now that I think of it, it was a good ending. We're all left to make up our own endings (and maybe that will leave some room for a "real" ending if HBO decides to do it some time later) What did you think?
